Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have experience in software quality assurance, with a strong grasp of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by creating test plans, executing tests, and collaborating closely with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools like Selenium.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through the defect lifecycle.
• Perform thorough regression testing to ensure issues are resolved effectively.
• Develop and implement testing processes for new and existing products to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams (developers, product managers) to define system requirements.
• Track and report quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and strategies.
• Ensure adherence to project standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Actively participate in Agile-Scrum development cycles and strive to meet delivery deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with internal development processes and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven work experience in software quality assurance (2-3 years).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing techniques.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Selenium.
• Solid understanding of SQL and scripting for data validation and testing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with performance and security testing.
• Familiarity with Agile-Scrum development practices.
